Upgrade your robotics and electronics projects with the VL53L0X Time-of-Flight (ToF) Laser Ranging Sensor. Using STMicroelectronics FlightSense technology and a 940nm infrared laser, this compact module measures distance by calculating the travel time of emitted light, providing reliable object detection with minimal dependence on target reflectance.
With I²C communication, level-shifted SDA/SCL lines, and a practical 2.6V–5.5V VIN input, the breakout board is easy to integrate with compatible microcontrollers and development systems. It can measure targets up to approximately 2 meters, with reported resolution down to 1mm under suitable conditions. A convenient XSHUT pin also enables hardware standby control.
